Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Vocational Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care and exceptional service to patients. You will assist in patient care, working closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
• Provide emotional support and ensure patients' comfort
• Collaborate with registered nurses and healthcare providers to create and implement care plans
• Follow infection control policies and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
• Document patients' health information accurately and maintain medical records

Necessary Requirements:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Proven experience in providing patient care
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or completion of a vocational nursing program.
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting highly desirable.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
