Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) in Red Bank, NJ is hiring a full- time dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join our outstanding Surgery/ Anesthesia team!
While your primary focus may be Specialty Surgery, you may also be involved with anesthesia in other hospital departments.
We are seeking nurses who want to continue to grow their skill set and knowledge, who are looking for advancement and want to continue their education in the field (Inquire about our tuition reimbursement as well as one on one mentorship for certifications and VTS programs).
Schedule/ Shift Details:
- Opportunities available on day and mid shift! (4/10 hour shifts per week)
- Holiday and On- Call requirements
- Advanced anesthesia training ASA 1-5E

Job Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to further skills and knowledge in Anesthesia working alongside Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Board Certified Surgeons.

- 2 years minimum experience in monitoring anesthesia.
- Must have experience placing IV Catheters, intubating, prepping for surgery, using anesthesia monitoring equipment, and have advanced medical math skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent patient care and advocacy.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast- pace environment amongst multiple doctors and staff members.
