RN Supervisor

We specialize in the care and treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility provides a full range of services, from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehab and recovery therapy. We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

The RN coordinates nursing services according to our philosophy and standards. This position promotes clients' physical and mental well-being through nursing processes and is part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, helping residents take responsibility for their health. The RN manages medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, in accordance with regulatory and individual needs.

Shifts are from 7 to 7:30.

Responsibilities:

• Safely administer and document medications per PSO policies.
• Conduct urine, blood, and glucose monitoring tests.
• Provide direct patient care aligned with nursing department goals.
• Develop and evaluate care plans.
• Assist in care or discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Adjust assignments based on patient needs.
• Implement patient-specific teaching programs.
• Review staff documentation standards and provide feedback.
• Maintain patient care standards as per regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN license in New York State.
• Registered as a professional RN in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in detox/rehab medication administration.
