As a Registered Nurse (Full Time), you will be responsible for assessing patients' health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Your primary duties will include administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

   • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed.
   • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
   • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
   • Assist in diagnostic tests and interpret results to determine appropriate care.

2. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
   • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
   • Participate in patient care meetings and provide input on patient treatment plans.

3. Patient Education:

   • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care practices.
   • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
   • Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and adherence to treatment plans.

4. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
   • Document patient assessments, care plans, treatments, and progress notes.
   • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

5. Quality Improvement:

   • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in nursing care.
   • Stay informed about the latest advancements in nursing and healthcare through continuous education and professional development.
   • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.

Requirements:

• Ability to work full time, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift patients and stand for extended periods.
