As a Professional Nurse specializing in Pediatric Home Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children with diverse medical needs. You will work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans, provide education on managing conditions, and ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine their health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician instructions.
• Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on managing medical conditions, medications, and therapies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
• Advocate for the needs and rights of pediatric patients and their families.

Requirements:

• RN/LPN with a valid license to practice as issued by the State Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated passion for working in pediatrics!
