Job Summary: As a Professional Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various healthcare settings. Working under the direction of nurse managers, physicians, and other healthcare providers, you will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and their families to promote health, wellness, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including health history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to identify patients' healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosing, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatments, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team promptly to facilitate timely intervention and optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures to empower patients to actively participate in their care and make informed healthcare decisions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate patient care, facilitate transitions of care, and promote continuity of care across healthcare settings.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing nursing practice, including patient confidentiality, informed consent, and professional conduct.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or diploma in nursing accepted.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or other specialty certifications may be required depending on the healthcare setting.
• Previous experience working as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patients' condition promptly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to providing culturally sensitive and individualized nursing services.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology for documentation, communication, and clinical decision support.
