Job Description: Pediatric RN

Are you a registered nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric care? Do you excel in providing compassionate support to pediatric patients and their families? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Pediatric RN.

As a Pediatric RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and home health environments. You will work closely with other members of the healthcare team to assess, plan, and implement care plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and other medical procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans for pediatric patients, ensuring that each child's physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures, empowering them to actively participate in their healthcare.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, and adjust care plans as necessary to promote optimal health outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Requirements:

• RN/LPN with a valid license to practice as issued by the State Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated passion for working in pediatrics!
