Job Description: Pediatric LPN

As a Pediatric LPN, you will provide compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in various healthcare settings, including clinics, hospitals, and home health environments. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to deliver personalized care and support to pediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with other medical procedures as directed by a registered nurse or physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs, observe for changes in condition, and report any concerns or issues to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop and implement individualized care plans, providing education and support on managing medical conditions and promoting wellness.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Requirements:

• RN/LPN with a valid license to practice as issued by the State Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated passion for working in pediatrics!
