Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Home Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home healthcare team. The Pediatric Home Care LPN will provide exceptional nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients at home, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration according to established protocols and standards.

- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate families on medication management.
- Family Education: Provide education and support to families, ensuring they understand their child's condition, treatment plan, and any necessary home care instructions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with registered nurses, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Emergency Response: Respond to pediatric emergencies with prompt, competent, and effective care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
- Advocacy: Advocate for the health and well-being of pediatric patients and their families within the healthcare system.
- Professional Development: Stay current with the latest pediatric nursing practices, technologies, and research to continually improve the quality of care provided.
Requirements:
- RN/LPN with a valid license to practice as issued by the State Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated passion for working in pediatrics!
