Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

2. Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough and accurate physical assessments, obtain patient histories, and evaluate patients' overall health to identify any specific healthcare needs.
3. Care Planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for pediatric patients, ensuring that all treatments and interventions are age-appropriate and family-centered.
4. Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate families on medication management.
5. Family Education: Provide education and support to families, ensuring they understand their child's condition, treatment plan, and any necessary home care instructions.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients.
7. Emergency Response: Respond to pediatric emergencies with prompt, competent, and effective care, utilizing advanced pediatric life support skills.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes.
9. Advocacy: Advocate for the health and well-being of pediatric patients and their families within the healthcare system.
10. Professional Development: Stay current with the latest pediatric nursing practices, technologies, and research to continually improve the quality of care provided.

Requirements:

• RN/LPN with a valid license to practice as issued by the State Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated passion for working in pediatrics!
