Patient Services Coordinator

Our organization is committed to the care and treatment of individuals suffering from substance and alcohol use disorders. Patient care is our main priority, and we always prioritize quality of care! We are looking to hire Patient Care Coordinators. The role involves supporting patients, minimizing barriers to treatment, and ensuring patient engagement in addiction treatment services. Coordinators will demonstrate recovery skills and offer hope to patients. Shifts available:

• Morning: 7 am-3:30 pm
• Night: 3 pm-11:30 pm
• Overnight: 11 pm-7:30 am

Responsibilities:

• Professionally and empathetically interact with patients.
• Communicate regularly with Counselors and Nursing staff.
• Promote positive interactions between patients and staff.
• Transport patients within the facility.
• Ensure adherence to the program schedule.
• Perform room checks.
• Conduct census checks every two hours, including post-meals.
• Report patient behavior inconsistencies.
• Assist in de-escalating patients.
• Oversee patient linen and laundry.
• Replenish linen supplies as necessary.
• Collect laundry for housekeeping.
• Deliver clean laundry to patients.
• Document new admissions' belongings.
• Help screen clients and their belongings for contraband.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Act as a role model.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of related experience Skills:

• Ability to de-escalate conflicts
• Willingness to learn
