Nurse Case Manager

The Recovery Center of Niagara is committed to the treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We prioritize patient care and ensure the highest quality. Our facility offers a full range of services, from detox to rehab and recovery therapy. We are hiring Nurse Case Managers (RNs) for the Day shift (7 am-7:30 pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Our Nurse Case Managers coordinate nursing services following our policies and standards, promoting the health of clients. They are part of an interdisciplinary team that helps residents manage their health, coordinating medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately administer and document medication.
• Conduct urine, blood, and glucose tests.
• Provide direct care in line with nursing goals.
• Assist staff in developing care plans and addressing patient issues.
• Support care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Accredited nursing school graduate
• New York State RN license
• The registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
