As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.The MEDICAL/SURGICAL ONCOLOGY DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. The C5 MEDICAL-SURGICAL unit at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 32 bed service line, with emphasis on orthopedic, surgical, and oncology/chemotherapy specialization. The unit is staffed based on acuity based staffing. There are 3 isolation rooms on unit, all private beds.Expectations:Registered Nurse who shares the same passion for our critically ill patients to coordinate, supervise and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge and evidence-based practice.All Staff Nurses are expected to practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description.Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.The unit works collaboratively with other disciplines for quality outcomes. Patient Care Conferences are held weekly, a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.The RN staff work 12 hours shifts with ancillary staffing personnel.The staff encourage patient-family centered care.Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Full-time employees can receive up to $18,000 over five years, while part-time employees can receive up to $9,000.
