Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Associate to join our healthcare team. The Medical Associate will provide a combination of clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring the smooth operation of medical services and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Support: The Medical Associate will assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, take vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and perform basic medical procedures such as phlebotomy and administering medications.

2. Administrative Duties: The Medical Associate will handle administrative tasks such as managing patient appointments, maintaining medical records, processing insurance claims, and answering phone inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education or training in medical assisting or healthcare administration is preferred.
• Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or a similar credential is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
