LPN Supervisor

Urban Recovery specializes in caring for individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We provide a full spectrum of care, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are hiring a Full-Time and Part-Time LPN Supervisor to join our team!

The LPN's role involves delivering personalized nursing care, and utilizing established techniques and procedures, under a registered nurse's supervision. You'll work alongside committed professionals and advance your clinical expertise!

Dayshifts and Overnight: 7:00a-7:30p, 7:00p-7:30a

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications safely and according to physicians' orders.
• Educate patients about their medications and document their responses, informing a registered nurse or doctor if needed.
• Document all patient activities and progress in the medical record, alerting a registered nurse or doctor if required.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as outlined in treatment plans.
• Gather and report data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Valid NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• Preferably experienced in addiction treatment.

• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good time management.
