LPN - Resident Care Supervisor

Urban Recovery is dedicated to treating those with substance and alcohol use disorders. We provide complete care, from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehab and recovery therapy. We are seeking a Full-Time and Part-Time LPN - Resident Care Supervisor to join our team!

LPNs deliver personalized nursing care using established techniques and procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. You'll collaborate with committed professionals and advance your clinical expertise!

Dayshifts and Overnight: 7:00a-7:30p, 7:00p-7:30a

Essential Duties:

• Administer medications safely and per physicians' orders.
• Educate patients on medications and document their response, notifying a registered nurse or doctor if issues arise.
• Record all patient activities and progress in the medical record, alerting a registered nurse or doctor if needed.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs according to treatment plans.
• Collect and report data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Preferably experienced in addiction treatment.

• Critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good time management.
