Home Health Nurse

The Recovery Center of Niagara is dedicated to treating individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We focus on our patients and prioritize quality care above all. Our facility offers comprehensive care, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are hiring Home Health Nurses (RNs) for the Day shift (7am-7:30pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

As a Home Health Nurse, you will coordinate nursing services following our policies and standards, promoting the health of our clients. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team aimed at helping residents care for their health, coordinating and monitoring medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medication accurately.
• Perform tests for urine, blood, and glucose levels.
• Provide direct patient care in line with nursing goals.
• Help staff develop care plans and address patient issues.
• Assist in care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain standards of patient care.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Nursing degree from an accredited school
• New York State RN license
• A registered nurse in good standing
• BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
