Healthcare Specialist

The Recovery Center of Niagara is dedicated to the care of those with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our patients are our priority, and we provide the highest quality of care. Our facility offers comprehensive services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are looking for Healthcare Specialists (RNs) for the Day shift (7 am-7:30 pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Healthcare Specialists coordinate nursing services according to our policies and standards, promoting patient health. They are part of a team that helps residents manage their health and coordinates medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medication accurately.
• Conduct tests for urine, blood, and glucose.
• Provide direct care aligned with nursing goals.
• Help staff develop care plans and address patient issues.
• Assist in care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• New York State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
