Health Services Coordinator

We are an organization devoted to the care and treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We are seeking Health Services Coordinators to join our team and help clients overcome barriers to treatment while staying engaged in their recovery. Coordinators will model recovery skills and provide hope.

Shifts Available:

• Overnight: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
• Evening: Saturday and Sunday (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
• Morning: Saturday and Sunday (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Communicate with Counselors and Nursing staff about client issues.
• Encourage positive interactions among clients and staff.
• Transport clients throughout the facility.
• Ensure clients follow the activity schedule.
• Conduct room checks.
• Perform census checks every two hours.
• Monitor client behaviour and report to relevant staff.
• Assist in de-escalating difficult situations.
• Oversee client linen and laundry.
• Search and record new admissions' belongings.
• Help screen clients and their property for contraband.
• Act as a role model.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related work experience.
