Health Care Nurse

The Recovery Center of Niagara is committed to the care of those with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our patients are our priority, and we ensure top-quality care. Our facility provides comprehensive services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are hiring Health Care Nurses (RNs) for the Day shift (7 am-7:30 pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

As a Health Care Nurse, you will coordinate nursing services following our policies and standards, promoting the health of our clients. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that helps residents manage their health and coordinates medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medication safely.
• Conduct tests for urine, blood, and glucose.
• Provide direct patient care consistent with nursing goals.
• Help staff develop care plans and address patient issues.
• Assist in care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review staff documentation and provide feedback.
• Maintain standards of patient care.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• New York State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
