Health Care Nurse

Urban Recovery specializes in the treatment of substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers a full range of services, from detox to medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Health Care Nurse to join our team!

Overnight shifts: 7 PM - 7:30 AM

As an RN, you'll coordinate nursing services reflecting our philosophy and standards, promoting clients' physical and mental health. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team assisting residents in managing their health and coordinating psychiatric and medication services based on individual needs.

Primary Duties:

• Administer and document medications safely and accurately per PSO policies.
• Perform urine, blood, and glucose tests.
• Deliver direct patient care consistent with nursing department goals.
• Help staff develop and evaluate care plans.
• Assist in care planning, discharge, and continuing care.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed during shifts.
• Implement patient education programs tailored to specific needs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards in line with governmental and standardizing agencies.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current NY State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in detox/rehab settings preferred
