Health Care Nurse

We are dedicated to the care and treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers a full spectrum of care, from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehab and recovery therapy. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

The RN role involves coordinating nursing services that align with our philosophy and standards. The RN promotes clients' physical and mental well-being through nursing processes and is a key part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, helping residents take charge of their health. The RN oversees medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, according to regulatory and individual needs.

Shifts run from 7 to 7:30.

Essential Duties:

• Administer and document medications accurately and safely per PSO policies.
• Perform urine, blood, and glucose monitoring tests.
• Deliver direct patient care aligned with nursing department goals.
• Assist in developing and evaluating goal-oriented care plans.
• Support care or discharge planning and continuous care.
• Adjust assignments based on patient needs.
• Implement patient-specific teaching programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Ensure patient care standards comply with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in New York State.
• Registered as a professional RN in good standing.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in medication administration in a detox/rehab setting.
