Health Care Nurse

Elev8 Centers specializes in treating those with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our comprehensive care includes detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We're hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

The RN will deliver nursing services following our policies and procedures, promoting clients' physical and mental well-being. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you'll help residents maintain their health. You'll coordinate and oversee medical services, including psychiatric and medication, to meet individual resident needs.

OVERNIGHT SHIFT 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately administer and document medications per PSO policies.
• Conduct urine, blood work, and glucose tests.
• Provide direct patient care aligned with the nursing department's philosophy and goals.
• Help staff develop and implement goal-oriented care plans and evaluate care quality.
• Assist with patient care planning, discharge, and continuing care.
• Adapt patient assignments based on their changing needs during shifts.
• Implement patient education programs based on specific needs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation standards.
• Adhere to patient care standards as per government and standardizing agency regulations.

Qualifications:

• Accredited nursing school graduate
• Current RN license in New York State
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience with medication administration in a detox/rehab setting
