Job Description: Full Time MA (Medical Assistant)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time MA (Medical Assistant) to join our healthcare team. The Full Time MA will provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: The Full Time MA will assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, take vital signs, prepare patients for procedures, and perform basic medical tasks such as drawing blood and administering injections.

2. Administrative Support: The Full Time MA will handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, answering phone calls, and processing insurance information.

3. Clinical Documentation: The Full Time MA will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document patient history and treatment plans, and ensure proper documentation of all clinical activities.

4. Patient Education: The Full Time MA will educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions, promoting patient understanding and adherence.

5. Coordination of Care: The Full Time MA will coordinate patient care by communicating with other healthcare providers, specialists, and facilities, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is beneficial but not required.
• Skills: Strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
