Job Description: Full Time CMA

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) to join our healthcare team. The Full Time CMA will provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth operations in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: The Full Time CMA will assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

2. Clinical Procedures: The Full Time CMA will perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and wound care, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

3. Medical Documentation: The Full Time CMA will accurately document patient information, including medical histories, vital signs, and care provided, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards.

4. Administrative Support: The Full Time CMA will assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals and follow-up care.

5. Patient Education: The Full Time CMA will educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and medications, promoting health and wellness.

Qualifications:

• Education: A diploma or certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification: Current and valid certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Experience: Prior experience as a CMA in a healthcare setting is beneficial but not required.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in healthcare software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Physical ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for extended periods.
