Overview

Woodland Clinic Medical Group is a multispecialty group of 150+ clinicians and has been providing care to the Woodland residents and surrounding areas for over 100 years. The group is recruiting BE/BC Family Medicine physicians to join our group in Davis or Woodland.

Compensation Range: $300,093 for 18 months, then productivity model

Woodland Clinic Medical Group (WCMG) is a multi-specialty group with more than 150+ providers in the Woodland, CA area. The group has been providing exceptional care to the residents of Woodland, Davis, and the surrounding communities for more than 100 years. Woodland is the county seat of Yolo County, located in California's Central Valley. Woodland is located 20 miles northwest of Sacramento at the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 113. The Sacramento International Airport is eight miles to the east. Waterways include the Yolo Bypass and Sacramento River to the east, Willow Slough to the southeast, and Cache Creek to the north.

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Provide clear and concise medical information.

• Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

• Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

• Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

• Perform procedures as needed

• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

• Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

• Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

• Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

• Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

• Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

• Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Treatment Planning and Management:

Collaboration and Consultation:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

• Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.

• Coordinate patient care across various settings.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license

• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$144.27 - $1`44.27/hour
