Are you a dedicated and skilled EMT looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking an experienced EMT to join our Blood and Plasma Collection Facility team. As an EMT at our Blood and Plasma Collection Facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while contributing to life-saving blood and plasma collections.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-donation medical screenings, including medical history assessments and vital sign checks, to determine donor eligibility.
• Monitor donors throughout the blood and plasma donation process to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Provide emergency medical care as needed during the donation process, including administering first aid, CPR, and other medical interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of donors, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
• Educate donors on the blood and plasma donation process, potential side effects, and post-donation care.
• Assist in the management of medical emergencies by coordinating with healthcare professionals and emergency services.
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing donor concerns and ensuring a positive donation experience.
• Collaborate with the Blood and Plasma Collection Facility team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an EMT with current CPR and first aid certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an EMT, preferably in a clinical or blood and plasma collection setting.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency medical procedures, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with donors, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation and record-keeping.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, lifting, and manual dexterity.

Qualifications:
