We are dedicated to the treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders, prioritizing quality patient care. Our facility provides comprehensive care, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and therapy. We are seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team!
Role Overview: The LPN delivers nursing care tailored to individual patient needs, under the supervision of a registered nurse, adhering to nursing standards.
Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications safely and in a timely manner as per physician orders.
- Educate patients about their medications and document their responses.
- Record patient activities such as admissions and discharges, and report any abnormalities.
- Document patient progress during detox and note any behavioral changes.
- Log all treatments and patient responses.
- Communicate with the treatment team regarding patient progress.
- Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Collect and report data for Continuous Quality Improvement programs.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
- Valid NY State Nursing License and Registration.
- Current CPR and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- Preferably with experience in addiction treatment.
