Clinical Nurse Specialist

Elev8 Centers specializes in treating individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers comprehensive care, from detox to rehab and recovery therapy. We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

The RN role involves providing nursing services per our policies and procedures, promoting clients' physical and mental health. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you'll assist residents in managing their health and coordinate medical services, including psychiatric and medication, based on individual needs.

OVERNIGHT SHIFT 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Duties:

• Administer and document medication safely and accurately per PSO policies.
• Perform urine, blood, and glucose tests.
• Provide direct patient care in line with the nursing department's philosophy and goals.
• Assist staff in developing and evaluating goal-oriented care plans.
• Help plan patient care, discharge, and ongoing care.
• Adjust patient assignments based on changing needs during shifts.
• Implement patient education programs based on specific needs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation standards.
• Maintain patient care standards per government and standardizing agency regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Nursing school graduate
• Current New York State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in medication administration in a detox/rehab setting
