Clinical Nurse Specialists contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols within their specialty area.
• Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrators, to optimize patient care delivery and promote interdisciplinary collaboration. Clinical Nurse Specialists provide consultation and expert guidance on complex patient cases and clinical issues.
• Leadership and Advocacy: Serve as leaders and advocates for nursing practice, quality improvement, and patient safety within their healthcare organization and the broader community. Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing with a specialization in clinical practice.
• Current RN licensure and certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the specialty area.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
