Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are dedicated to the care and treatment of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers comprehensive services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

As an RN, you will coordinate nursing services that align with our philosophy and standards. This role promotes clients' physical and mental health through nursing processes and is part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, assisting residents in taking responsibility for their health. The RN oversees medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, according to regulatory and individual needs.

Shifts run from 7 to 7:30.

Duties:

• Safely administer and document medications as per PSO policies.
• Conduct urine, blood, and glucose monitoring tests.
• Provide direct patient care in line with nursing department goals.
• Assist in developing and evaluating care plans.
• Support care or discharge planning and continuous care.
• Adjust assignments based on patient needs.
• Implement patient-specific teaching programs.
• Review staff documentation standards and provide feedback.
• Ensure patient care standards comply with regulations.

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN license in New York State.
• Registered as a professional RN in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in detox/rehab medication administration.
