Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Recovery Center of Niagara focuses on treating those with substance and alcohol use disorders. We prioritize patient care and ensure high-quality services. Our facility offers complete care, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists (RNs) for the Day shift (7am-7:30 pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Our Clinical Nurse Specialists coordinate nursing services per our policies and standards, promoting patient health. They are part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping residents manage their health, and coordinating medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medication accurately.
• Conduct tests for urine, blood, and glucose.
• Provide direct care aligned with nursing goals.
• Help staff develop care plans and address patient issues.
• Assist in care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• New York State RN license
• The registered nurse in good standing
• BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
