Clinical Nurse Specialist

Urban Recovery focuses on treating individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of services, from detox to medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team!

Overnight shifts: 7 PM - 7:30 AM

As an RN, you'll coordinate nursing services that reflect our philosophy and standards, promoting the physical and mental health of our clients. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team assisting residents in managing their health and coordinating psychiatric and medication services based on individual needs.

Key Duties:

• Administer and document medication safely and accurately per PSO policies.
• Conduct urine, blood, and glucose tests.
• Provide direct patient care aligned with the nursing department's goals.
• Assist staff in developing and evaluating care plans.
• Help with care planning, discharge, and continuing care.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed during shifts.
• Implement patient education programs based on specific needs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards per governmental and standardizing agencies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current NY State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in detox/rehab settings preferred
