Charge Nurse

The Recovery Center of Niagara specializes in treating individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. We prioritize patient care and ensure the highest quality. Our facility offers a full range of services, from detox to rehab and recovery therapy. We are seeking Charge Nurses (RNs) for the Day shift (7 am-7:30 pm).

Full-time preferred (3 x 12-hour shifts)

Our Charge Nurses coordinate nursing services according to our policies and standards, promoting client health. They are part of a team that helps residents manage their health, coordinating medical and psychiatric services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medication safely.
• Conduct tests for urine, blood, and glucose.
• Provide direct care in line with nursing goals.
• Assist staff in developing care plans and addressing patient issues.
• Support care planning and discharge.
• Adjust patient assignments as needed.
• Implement patient education programs.
• Review and provide feedback on staff documentation.
• Maintain patient care standards.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

• Accredited nursing school graduate
• New York State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in a detox/rehab setting
