Charge Nurse

We are dedicated to the treatment and care of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our medical facility offers a full range of services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

The RN coordinates nursing services in alignment with our philosophy and standards. This role promotes clients' physical and mental health through nursing processes and is part of the interdisciplinary treatment team, aiding residents in taking responsibility for their health. The RN oversees medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, in compliance with regulatory and individual needs.

Shifts are 7-7:30.

Responsibilities:

• Safely administer and document medications as per PSO policies.
• Conduct urine, blood, and glucose monitoring tests.
• Provide direct patient care aligned with nursing department goals.
• Develop and evaluate goal-oriented care plans.
• Assist in care or discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Adjust assignments based on patient needs.
• Implement patient-specific teaching programs.
• Review staff documentation and provide feedback.
• Ensure patient care standards meet regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN license in New York State.
• Registered as a professional RN in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Experience in detox/rehab medication administration.
