Charge Nurse

Elev8 Centers is dedicated to the treatment of substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility provides complete care, from detox to rehab and recovery therapy. We're currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

As an RN, you'll provide nursing services per our policies and procedures, promoting clients' physical and mental health. You'll work with an interdisciplinary team to assist residents in managing their health and coordinate medical services, including psychiatric and medication, to meet individual needs.

OVERNIGHT SHIFT 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Safely and accurately administer and document medications according to PSO policies.
• Perform urine, blood, and glucose tests.
• Provide direct patient care consistent with the nursing department's goals.
• Assist staff in developing and evaluating goal-oriented care plans.
• Help plan patient care, discharge, and ongoing care.
• Adjust patient assignments based on changing needs during shifts.
• Implement patient education programs based on specific needs.
• Review and give feedback on staff documentation standards.
• Maintain patient care standards as per government and standardizing agency regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current New York State RN license
• Registered nurse in good standing
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Two years of nursing experience
• Experience in administering medication in a detox/rehab setting
