Care Coordinator

Our organization is dedicated to supporting those dealing with substance and alcohol use disorders. We are hiring Care Coordinators to assist clients in overcoming barriers to treatment and maintaining their engagement in recovery programs. Coordinators will exemplify recovery competencies and inspire clients with hope.

Shifts Available:

• Overnight: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (11:00 pm - 7:00 am)
• Afternoon: Saturday and Sunday (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
• Morning: Saturday and Sunday (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Professionally and empathetically interact with clients.
• Communicate with Counselors and Nursing staff about client care.
• Foster positive client-staff interactions.
• Transport clients within the facility.
• Ensure adherence to the activity schedule.
• Conduct regular room checks.
• Perform census checks four times per shift.
• Monitor and report client behaviour.
• Help de-escalate challenging situations.
• Manage client laundry and linen.
• Search and record belongings of new admissions.
• Assist in screening clients and their belongings for contraband.
• Act as a role model.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
