Behavioral Health Social Worker

Surfpoint Recovery's inpatient drug treatment program offers a professional growth environment for clinical staff. You will work with clinicians, nurses, providers, and peer advocates to create comprehensive care plans for clients.

The LCSW will supervise LMSWs, aiding in their professional development and enhancing their leadership and mentoring skills.

This role has the potential to be hybrid, with both in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Management of 8-10 client caseloads
• Daily individual and group counselling sessions
• Aftercare planning, crisis intervention, and the creation of individualized treatment plans
• Compliance with documentation and progress notes requirements
• Adherence to OASAS standards
• Participation in weekly utilization reviews following clinical and administrative protocols
• Preparation of weekly case conferences and reviews
• Supervision of MSW student interns as needed

Requirements:

Master's degree required Valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing SIFI preferred, or willingness to complete a SIFI course Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
