Behavioral Health Clinical Specialist

Surfpoint Recovery's inpatient drug treatment program provides a professional growth environment for clinical staff. You will work with clinicians, nurses, providers, and peer advocates to create comprehensive care plans for clients.

The LCSW will supervise LMSWs, aiding in their professional growth and enhancing their leadership and mentoring skills.

This role has the potential to be hybrid, with both in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a client caseload of 8-10
• Performing daily individual and group counseling sessions
• Providing aftercare planning, crisis intervention, and developing individualized treatment plans
• Ensuring documentation and progress notes compliance
• Adhering to OASAS standards
• Participating in weekly utilization reviews based on clinical and administrative protocols
• Preparing for weekly case conferences and reviews
• Supervising MSW student interns as necessary

Requirements:

Master's degree required Valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing SIFI preferred, or willingness to complete a SIFI course Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
